Radicular pain (pain radiating along a dermatome or sensory nerve due to inflammation or irritation of that nerve root), such as "sciatica", is also a common ailment that physical therapy can often remedy. It is important to receive treatment for these types of issues soon after they occur to avoid compensatory strategies and worsening symptoms- issues like these could become chronic and take much longer to rehab if not addressed.
